All consultations are by appointment and are available between 8.30am - 6.00pm on weekdays. In line with government guidelines a proportion of our appointments can only be booked on the day. This reduces waiting times but it does also mean that, particularly for acute or new problems, you may have to see another doctor if the GP you usually see is busy or unavailable.
We also have appointments on early mornings and late night surgeries; they are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 6.30 till 7.00pm
Wednesday morning 7.15 till 8.00am
When you phone or call at the desk you will usually be asked a few simple questions by the receptionist. These are not meant to be intrusive. Rather, they help us to help you by directing you to the appropriate health professional as quickly as possible. If no appointments are available, and you feel your problem needs same day attention, you will go through a triage system which involves doctor assessment. Your co-operation will be appreciated.

Online Appointments and Prescription Ordering
We are very pleased to be able to announce a new service for patients enabling you to book appointments online and to re-order repeat prescriptions. The service will be available 24/7 and we hope that patients who find it difficult to phone us during working hours will find the new service to be particularly useful.
The repeat prescription ordering service is available now, and the online appointment booking service will be available from 31st March.
Patients who want to use this service will need to complete a short form which is available from our reception desk.

If for any reason you cannot keep an appointment, please cancel it in good time so that it can be offered to someone else. You can do this by telephoning on 01302 897600.
The treatment room is staffed by the practice nurses and health care assistants. An appointment system is run to alleviate patient congestion. Patients may also be referred to the nurse if they require their advice.
